- In Hokom, divide the abnat by ten and round up from six: 86 makes 9 and 85 makes 8, out of 16 for the hand.
- In Sun, divide by ten and double, and a five counts one: 65 makes 13, out of 26 for the hand.
- Only one team's abnat are converted; the other team gets the rest of the 16 or 26.
- If the buyers fail, the hand's points and all projects go to the other team; each Baloot stays with its holder, except in a kaboot.
- Double doubles the hand and its projects; Three makes the points three times and Four four times, without doubling the projects. Winning a Gahwa wins the whole game. Sun has Double only.
- Kaboot is never doubled: 44 in Sun and 25 in Hokom, plus the kabooting team's projects and Baloot; the other team scores nothing.
- A tie in totals is settled by the units digit of the abnat, per the federation rules; in a doubled hand a tie goes to the buyers, against the doubler.
- The first team to 152 wins; if both pass it in the same hand, the higher total wins, and equal totals play another hand.
