Terms of use
Last updated: 5 October 2026.
These terms are an agreement between you and DIRWAAS Intelligent Solutions LLC (درواس للأنظمة الذكية), a company in Amman, Jordan ("we", "us"), which operates Kroooot: the site kroooot.com, the Kroooot phone apps, and every game, table and feature in them (together, "the service"). By using the service you agree to these terms. Our privacy policy explains how we process your data and your rights over it; using the service alone is not consent to any processing for which the law requires separate consent. If you do not accept these terms, do not use the service.
1. Who may use it
You must be at least 13 years old. If you are under 18, or under the age of majority where you live, you may use the service only with the permission of a parent or guardian, who accepts these terms on your behalf. If the law where you live sets a higher age, or further conditions on capacity or a guardian's consent, you must meet them, and we may restrict access where they cannot be met. When you create an account, you confirm that you meet these conditions. The service is for personal, non-commercial entertainment.
2. Free play, no money, no gambling
The service is free. There are no stakes, no prizes and nothing of monetary value to win. Points, ratings, ranks, badges and results have no cash value, cannot be bought, sold or exchanged, and belong to no one. You may not use the service, or arrange outside it, to bet or gamble on any game, result or rating. There are no purchases in the service now. Before we add any paid feature, we will add its terms here and show them to you before you pay.
3. Your account
You can play against computer players without an account. Playing with other people needs an account: your email, confirmed with a code we send to it, and a password. Keep your password secret and take reasonable care to protect your account, and tell us without undue delay if you think someone else is using it. You are responsible for your own use of your account and for use you allow. This does not make you responsible for our failures, or for use you did not allow and did not make possible by breaking these duties. Without an account, your guest record is linked to a hash of a random identifier kept on your device. Anyone who shares that browser or app may use the same guest record, so do not rely on it as proof of who you are. Clearing the site's data or uninstalling the app can make the guest record unreachable, and we cannot restore it once the identifier is gone. The privacy policy describes the other technical data the service processes. You can delete your account at any time with "Delete account" under "More" or in "Settings", after two confirmations, or ask us to delete it on the account deletion page or at contact@dirwaas.com, as the privacy policy explains. Deletion cannot be undone; the privacy policy explains the limited data that may remain for a time, and why.
4. How you must behave
You agree not to:
- choose a name, or say anything in voice chat, that is offensive, hateful, sexual, threatening, misleading, or impersonates someone else;
- harass, insult or intimidate other players, or share another person's private information;
- cheat: collude with an opponent; at public tables, reveal your hand or signal your partner by any means, including voice or messages outside the game; use more than one seat or device to gain an advantage, use bots, scripts or other software to play for you, or exploit a fault in the service;
- manipulate ratings, leaderboards, the daily challenge or group results, including by playing yourself or arranging results;
- copy, scrape, reverse engineer, overload, probe or attack the service, or get round any limit or protection in it, except with our written permission or where a legal right that cannot be excluded allows it (reporting a weakness to us privately, without exploiting it or reaching other people's data, is not a breach);
- use the service for anything unlawful, for advertising, or for any commercial purpose without our written permission.
You are responsible for everything you do in the service, including what you say in voice chat, which we do not record or monitor.
5. Our enforcement
Where we have reasonable grounds to believe that these terms have been broken, or that the service or other players are at risk, we may take reasonable and proportionate action: warn you, change or remove a name, remove you from a table, cancel or correct results and ratings, remove you from leaderboards, or suspend or end your access. We may act at once and without prior notice where this is needed to protect players, keep the service secure or comply with the law. You can ask us to review an action at contact@dirwaas.com. We review reports of abuse and offensive names, normally within seven days. You can also block another player from inviting you or seeing whether you are online. We do not record or listen to voice chat, and we do not settle personal disputes between players that do not involve a breach of these terms.
6. Games, bots and fairness
Games follow the rules published in the service, which may differ from how a game is played in your area or family. Some seats may be filled by computer players, which are labelled. At online tables, cards and tiles are shuffled by the server, and the service shows how to check a finished game's deal; in games against computer players on your device, your device shuffles them. Online play depends on your connection: a lost connection, a time limit or a server fault can end or decide a game. Results stand as recorded, but we may correct or cancel them to fix an error, cheating or a breach, under section 5. We may change rules, scoring, ratings or leaderboards, and may reset them, at any time. Ratings, ranks and results are for entertainment and competition within the service; they are not a qualification, proof of identity, or a guarantee of anyone's skill or conduct, and must not be relied on for any financial or professional decision or any bet.
7. Ownership
The service, its name and logo, its design, artwork, code, sounds and texts are owned by us or our licensors and are protected by law. We grant you a personal, revocable, non-transferable, non-exclusive licence to use the service under these terms; nothing else is granted. We claim no exclusive ownership of the traditional rules of the games, but that gives no right to copy our software, artwork, texts or brand. We are not affiliated with, or endorsed by, any other game app or company. You keep any rights in what you submit, such as the names you choose, group names and reports. You give us a non-exclusive, free licence to store, copy, show and adapt it as far as needed to run, protect and moderate the service, using our service providers only for those purposes; it is shown only to the people the relevant feature and the privacy policy describe. The licence ends when the content is deleted, except for limited use needed for lawful retention or an existing claim. It does not allow us to record voice chat.
8. Other services
The service relies on others, such as Cloudflare for hosting, the app stores for the apps, and your browser or device for voice chat and the microphone. Their own terms may govern your direct relationship with them. We do not control, and are not responsible for the content of, independent sites or services we link to. This does not exclude our legal responsibility for choosing and overseeing the providers we use, or for protecting your data.
9. No warranty
The service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, and uninterrupted or error-free operation, to the fullest extent the law allows. We may change, suspend or end the service, or any part of it, for reasonable operational, technical, security or legal reasons. Where we practically can, we give reasonable notice in advance of a significant change or of ending the service for good, unless security or the law requires immediate action. Data is deleted under our privacy policy and the law, without affecting any right that cannot be excluded to ask for your data or to complain. We are not responsible for delay or failure in performing these terms to the extent caused by events beyond our reasonable control, such as a disaster, a widespread network outage or government action, provided we take reasonable steps to limit the effects and restore the service; this does not cover events caused by our own failure, or our duties to protect data.
10. Limits on our liability
As far as the law allows contractual liability to be limited, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, or loss of profit or opportunity, arising from use of the service. Our total contractual liability that may lawfully be limited, for claims arising from related events in any twelve month period, is limited to the greater of fifty Jordanian dinars and the total you paid us for the service in that period. No exclusion or limit in these terms applies to liability for a harmful act where the law forbids limiting it, to fraud, wilful misconduct or gross negligence, or to any liability, remedy or right that the law does not allow to be excluded or limited. These terms do not restrict the powers of any regulator.
11. Your responsibility to us
To the extent the law allows, you are responsible for reasonable direct losses proven to result from your intentional or negligent breach of these terms, including amounts payable on a third party's claim and reasonable legal costs awarded by a court or agreed by you, to the extent your breach caused them. You are not responsible for losses caused by our failures or those of our service providers. We will tell you of any such claim, give you a reasonable chance to respond, and not bind you to a settlement without your consent.
12. The apps and the app stores
These terms are between you and us, not Apple or Google. We, not Apple Inc. or Google LLC, are responsible for the apps and their content, and Apple and Google have no duty to provide maintenance or support for them. For the iPhone app, we, not Apple, are responsible for addressing any claim about it, including product liability, failure to meet a legal or regulatory requirement, and consumer protection claims, and for investigating, defending, settling and discharging any claim that it infringes a third party's intellectual property. Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these terms and may enforce them against you as users of the iPhone app. You confirm that you are not in a country under a United States government embargo or designated by that government as supporting terrorism, and are not on any United States government list of prohibited or restricted parties. Your use of the apps must also follow the rules of the store you got them from. The licence in section 7 lets you use the iPhone app only on Apple devices that you own or control, as the App Store's usage rules permit, including use by other accounts linked to you through Family Sharing where those rules allow it. If the iPhone app fails to conform to any applicable warranty, you may notify Apple, and Apple will refund any purchase price you paid for it; to the maximum extent permitted by law, Apple has no other warranty obligation with respect to the app.
13. Ending
You may stop using the service at any time and delete your account. We may end your access under section 5, or stop providing the service under section 9. Sections 2, 7 and 9 to 15 continue after that.
14. Changes to these terms
We may change these terms. We will publish the new version here with the date it takes effect, and for a significant change we will also give notice in the service a reasonable time before it takes effect, unless the law or security requires a faster change. A change does not apply to rights or claims that arose before it took effect. Where the law allows, using the service after that date means you accept the change; if you do not accept it, stop using the service, and you may delete your account. Where the law requires your express acceptance or separate consent, we will ask for it.
15. Law and disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, without taking away any mandatory protection the law gives you, including the law of the country where you live where it applies. The competent courts of Amman, Jordan, decide disputes, subject to any right you have that cannot be waived to go to other courts. We encourage you to contact us first to settle a dispute amicably, but this is not a condition for bringing a claim, making a complaint or seeking urgent relief. If any part of these terms is found invalid, the rest remains in force. Our not enforcing a term is not a waiver of it. We may transfer this agreement to a successor in a merger, reorganisation or sale of the service, provided this does not reduce your mandatory rights and the successor takes on our obligations; we will tell you of the transfer and of any change in who is responsible for your data. You may not transfer your account or your rights under these terms without our consent. These terms and the privacy policy are the whole agreement between you and us about the service. They are published in Arabic and English, and both versions are official; if they differ, the Arabic text prevails.
