How to play
- The deal and turns are as in Hand: fourteen cards each, fifteen for the player on the dealer's right, and every turn you draw, put down what you like, then discard.
- A meld is three or more cards in sequence in one suit, or of one rank in different suits, with at most one joker.
- Each player of the first team to go down in a round needs at least 51.
- Each player of the other team needs the first team's highest first time down plus one. If the first opened with 60, the opponents need 61; if that player's partner then opens with 70, they need 71.
- The minimum goes back to 51 at the start of every round. Going out with every card in one turn needs no minimum.
- Once down, you may lay off on any meld on the table, and take a joker by putting in the card it stands for.
Scoring and winning
- Scoring is the same as Hand: 30 off for ending the round, and 60 off for a Hand, with everyone else's points doubled.
- Cards left count: joker 15, ace 11, jack, queen and king 10, the rest at face value, and never going down pays 100.
- After five rounds, the team with the lower total wins.
