How to play
- 52 cards, 13 each, ace high. Whoever holds the 7♥ in the first deal owns the first kingdom, which then passes to the player on their right.
- The owner picks the order of the kingdom's four games, one per deal. In the trick games the owner leads, and you must follow suit if you can.
- Complex: lose 75 for the K♥, 25 for each queen, 10 for each diamond and 15 for each trick. Before the first lead the K♥ or a queen may be shown: its taker loses double and the player who showed it gains its value.
- Tarneeb: the owner names trump and leads, and every trick is worth 10.
- Lattoshin: only the last two tricks count: minus 60 for the 12th and minus 70 for the 13th.
- Trix: a jack starts each suit's line, which then builds up to the ace and down to the 2; a card goes only next to an end of its line. You must play if you can, otherwise you pass. The first out scores 200, then 150, 100 and 50.
Scoring and winning
- Every kingdom sums to zero: Complex costs 500 and Trix gives 500, Tarneeb gives 130 and Lattoshin costs 130.
- After four kingdoms (16 deals) the highest total wins; in teams, with partners opposite, the higher team total wins.
